Ginger
An antioxidant that may help in gas evacuation produced by gastrointestinal fermentation. Also may be helpful as an expectorant, anti-emetic (to control nausea and vomiting), prevention of coronary artery disease. Ginger is a natural enzyme action on protein digestion, probiotic that may support of the natural gut flora, anti-diarrhea properties, liver protection, and it may also be helpful as an antidote to several food toxins. Ginger may also have an antiprotozoal effect that may make it useful against giardia, coccidia, and other protozoa.
Green-Lipped Muscle (New Zealand)
Green-lipped mussel (Perna canaliculus) is a New Zealand shellfish. Rich in fatty acids (Contain 90!) but most abundant in EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexanoic acid). They contain high levels of glycosaminoglycan (GAGs) which may assist in the repair of damaged joint tissues and provide anti-inflammatory effects.
